In addition to the regular program - Disney, Autism Awareness Australia and The Autism Association of Western Australia have worked together to present an autism-friendly performance of The Lion King in Melbourne and Perth!
From their website, "These specially adapted performances will be suitable for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, with trained staff on hand and dedicated quiet areas should anyone need to leave their seats. Slight adjustments to the production will include reduction of any jarring sounds or lights focused into the audience."

Cecil the Lion
Just recently, one of the animators for The Lion King's animated movie, Aaron Blaise, had created a tribute artwork for Cecil the lion. Because this went viral (much to his surprise), he made the artwork available for prints to purchase - with 100% of the profits going to WildCRU.
